About

I'm Sarah, I live in Yorkshire with my partner and our three cats.

Growing up in a family of creatives, art was a big part of my life. I lived on a narrowboat with my father, an art teacher and I learned how to paint roses & castles and sell them from the front of the boat for pocket money.

This unconventional childhood, gave me such a love for the outdoors that I went on to study Countryside Management at university. After many years in environmental roles, I decided to see where my art passion could take me and I've found I thoroughly enjoy combining my love for both nature and art!

I take all my inspiration from nature, I am passionate about our natural world and I enjoy long walks locally and further afield when I have the time to explore.

The process of slowing down in nature, noticing the small things and capturing the detail, is one I love and encourage everyone to give it a go!
